Natural Recipes for a Healthier Glow! (See note below about allergies!)

    Honey Banana Face Mask:

People have been using a banana and honey mask for eons and it makes your
    skin feel radiant. Just mix half a mashed banana with 2 spoons of honey;
apply to face and leave for 5-10 minutes and then rinse.

Also banana skin (the inside) is excellent for hard skin on feet!! Relax and
    Enjoy!

Orange Face Mask for Oily Skin:

1/2 orange, 8 tablespoons of flour.

    Preparation:
Squeeze orange and mix in flour. Start out by adding 5-6 tablespoons and
keep adding more, until you get a compact, thick mass. Not too thick, but
thick enough to be able to spread on the face. Apply and let it rest for 20
minutes and wash off with lots of luke warm water.

    Apple Moisturizing Face Mask:

Apple is full of potassium, a mineral which when used in skin care, helps trap
skin's moisture giving it a nice glow.

Ingredients: 1 apple, 1 cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of flour, 1 tablespoon of
    olive oil

Preparation: Peel an apple and cut it in little slices. Boil it in a bit of milk, until
soft (do this in the microwave, but carefully so it doesn't explode!). Mash it
and add flour and oil. Apply to face while it is just warm (not hot! try it on your
inner wrist first!) and let it rest for 20 minutes. Rinse off with luke warm water.

    Pineapple Face Mask:

Pineapple is a great source of Vitamin C that helps cleanse
the skin and Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) which is essential for proper growth and
development of body's systems, skin system included.

Ingredients: Pineapple slices (natural, no sugared), 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Preparation: Mash the pineapple and add olive oil to it. Use circular motion
when applying this mask and let it rest for 15 min. Rinse off with cold water.
You can apply a good moisturizer after this.

    Chocolate Face Mask:

Ingredients: 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/4 cup of honey, 2 tablespoons
of heavy cream (sour cream will work as well), 3 teaspoons of oatmeal powder

Preparation: Mix all the ingredient until the mass in consistent. Apply on the
face, gently massaging it so that oatmeal can start exfoliating the dead skin
cell layer. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and rinse off with luke warm water.

In case you are wondering, there is a reason oatmeal and honey are added to
this mix. Similar to its use in body scrub recipes, oatmeal is highly
recommended for sensitive skin. It can also be used in preparation of facial
masks for any skin type, as well as for facial exfoliants, as it is gentle on the
    skin yet highly powerful.

Honey on the other hand, is a great anti-bacterial agent, deeply cleanses your
skin and opens up clogged pores. Now that you know all these benefits of
chocolate, not only can you be guilt free while eating it, you can prepare an
excellent chocolate face mask recipe and add to your skin's youthful look and
    nourishment.

****As with any natural foods, if you have an allergy to any of the above
ingredients, please do not attempt to apply these to your face. Always consult
with your doctor before trying anything new if you have severe food and/or
    contact/skin allergies.****
